A welcoming haven near the Vatican
From the moment we arrived, Michelle greeted us with a warm smile and shared delightful stories about Rome. The location was perfect for exploring, just a short walk from key sights like the Vatican and Castel Sant'Angelo. Every morning, we savored freshly baked croissants from the nearby bakery, all while enjoying a cozy cup of coffee from the complimentary machine in the lobby. Despite the slight challenges with the air conditioning, the overall ambiance felt like home away from home.
While the street noise occasionally interrupted our sleep, it was manageable. The rooms, though spacious and clean, showed signs of being outdated and could use a refresh. the Wi-Fi was less reliable, which is more of a city-wide issue than a specific concern of the guesthouse. Nonetheless, these small drawbacks did not overshadow the pleasant experience during our stay.

The grilled meats at Il Sorpasso were simply divine, making our taste buds dance! Michelle was such a gem, coordinating taxi rides for us and ensuring we had a gentle cozy vibe during our stay. The spacious room had a lovely personal fridge for keeping our Italian snacks fresh.
Now, I didn't fancy that memory foam pillow for my neck. another would have been a treat. Plus, the air con unit dripped a bit—had to turn it off at night.

Rooms spacious with refrigerators, a nice touch for storing snacks and drinks. Enjoyed the memory foam pillow, perfect for a good night's sleep.
The air conditioning unit dripped, making an annoying noise that forced it off during the night. Fridge noise also disrupted sleep, leading to an uneasy first night. Street noise lingered into late hours and early mornings, creating a less than peaceful atmosphere.

Fantastic experience! Loved the authentic decor and spacious rooms. The coffee machine was a delightful bonus for my caffeine addiction!
The street noise had me thinking I was in a Roman amphitheater. And could someone fix that fridge? It sounded like it was auditioning for a horror film!

We spent 6 nights here and loved having our own fridge to keep snacks and cold drinks. The cozy ambiance made it feel like home. Relaxing with coffee while planning our day and enjoying the spacious room was a highlight! There was a bit of street noise at night, but honestly, it didn't bother us too much. Don't forget to check out the nearby cafes for breakfast! 😊
